Silver Field University has awarded $150,000 in scholarships last year to ensure maximum access of education to students. Statistics show that this is the first online university-education financial support program to award such an amount. Students received scholarships worth $15,000 and unlimited grants that let students pursue their higher education without any hassle.
The SFU graduates, who range in age from 22 to 37, work in various fields such as health care, social services, education, law and the arts. They also received awards of $500 to $5000 through the program, which was open to all students.
“I am proud to announce that we have successfully awarded $150,000 in scholarships to Silver Field University graduates from last year in order to support their dream for higher education,” said the Dean at Silver Field University . “In its first year of operation, the scholarship program has already had an impact on the lives of recipients, many of whom are pleased that SFU is actively backing up its stated commitment to active support for education,” he added.
“It’s nice to see that our school is acknowledging us,” says Racheal Adams, 25, a program coordinator for exalt, a New York-based organization that introduces youth who are in and outside of the criminal justice system to the world of work. She graduated from Silver Field University with a $15,000 scholarship for a Masters in Law and Legal Studies.
The SFU aid program is believed to be the first such program to cover all students within the university. Applications for this year’s awards are due this month. Student consultants are available 24 x 7 to entertain queries from existing as well as prospective students.The university is known for its innovation and overall student support services.
